Welcome To Crunchmania

This site was inspired by the amount of media coverage the credit crunch has received.  Primarily crunchmania is a lifestyle ezine trying to make the difficult years ahead as much fun as we can.  Times are changing and whether we like to or not, to survive we must change too.  Why?  Because this isn’t the first time the economy has taken a nose dive and it won’t be the last.

The housing market has attracted much media attention and not for the first time many of us find ourselves homeowners in a housing slump.  Will this effect everyone?  No, because if you have a mortgage you can afford and don’t need to move nothing has really changed.

In the current climate of fear and depression, being green isn’t just a lifestyle choice it makes sense.  More and more of us are insulating our houses, not just to save the planet, but to keep ourselves solvent through the winter.  Composting, growing vegetables in the back garden will become more popular than endless hours of credit fuelled shopping.

We hope you will share you experiences and ideas for surviving the credit crunch and that anything you find on this site is either informative or fun.  One of our contributors is a trained chef and she is busy working on easy money saving recipes.   All our other contributors have skill or experience connected with the articles they are writing.
